Since I make cheese for a living, I am curious...

What type of cheese is your favorite?

I live in the land of cheese (The Netherlands), and to be honest; I only reconize 2 of the choices

However, to make it easy without naming naming any brands (although you can categorize them them).


I prefer "old" (ripened 10-12 months) and strong cheeses of the Gouda type.

And I don't like french cheese...

Since im from Switzerland, i like the Cheese of my Country, called " Appenzeller ".

I've never thought of frying cheese, but that sounds really good. I like to melt pepper jack on a home made tortilla to make a quesadilla.
