Queue position constantly changes for update

Hi,

I have a question which I hope someone can shed some light on.

When I "Join the queue" to update my stats I will be shown a position in a queue (say 500/500) with a time to update (let's say 5 hours).

I leave the page open since I have found previously that if I close my browser or leave the page, I lose position in queue and have to "rejoin".

However, today, whilst updating, firstly the position in queue showed approx 350/350 (at time I joined) and a wait of about 45 minutes.
The page will keep refreshing itself showing a new position in an ever changing queue. Up to now I have been as low as 1/85, and then with the next page refresh (which I assume is automated) I am back to somewhere around 79/78 (and that isn't a typo).

So the question is, does the queue actually progress you from a starting position and constantly move you up till you are updated or as the page is indicating keep you hopping up and down the queue at what seems like random?

For the record, the page has also stopped showing an ETA time which is the first time I have noticed this.

Player name is ChaosNation. Platform is PC. Game is BC2.

The question is out of curiosity more than anything else...I was just wondering if someone could shed some light on why the page displays the queue position as it does.

P.S. , for some reason, I have now been booted out of the queue altogether and the stats did not update nor has it reset the 12 hour time limit.

This may be a bug that needs looking at.

this is not only on your site! I am having the problems. Unfortunately we have to wait until 1ApRiL is coming back from his trip to Vancouver as he is the only one who has the permission to change something on the website!

It's quite simple to tell when the BFBCS servers are't getting information from EA. Go to the BFBCS home page and look at the 'BFBC2 last updated players' list. If it shows the most recent players being updated within the past minute, everything is running fine.

Then all the update stat clicks in the world won't do anything.
